Question: Media and entertainment in america: whats going on?

I know this is not just me Why is it that everything sucks nowadays like: T.V Video games Music Cartoons Why is everthing begining to fall down...these things arent how they use to be back then..whats going on? I remember when there was always something to watch or do or play etc.. everything sucks and is boring can someone explain? An its not because Im aging because this is something that a lot of people realized...

In order for artistic endeavors to have inner value they should be based on talent and artistic integrity (which includes principles - philosophical, aesthetic, moral etc). Nowadays they are based on PROFIT only - in other words, what makes money is considered worth supporting and promoting, and what makes money is considered good. The problem is, what makes more money? What most people would buy. And what most people would buy is trash.

Video games mostly suck because of the GODDAMN Casual gamers. no, to the casual retard below me, video games are SICKENING now. Gears of war is ew. Modern warfare 2 is EWWWW FPS games are stupid. so are 3rdPS games now. there's rarely ANYTHING good.

Video games are sick nowadays, don't even go there. But I agree that TV and music is going downhill and fast. I honestly have no idea as to why, but I think that the music industry is lacking a lot of genuine passion.

People are boring and have no imagination. That's why reality shows took over,because there are no more bright,talented writers out there anymore. Look at all the remakes of old movies. That's because people can't come up with any original ideas and have to rewrite old movies. Creativity and imagination are shunned in entertainment today.

Mabye it's just us. we get older, we don't like video games we watch less tv we get lazier
