What Does The BET AWARDS Show You About Black Entertainment?
To me, it shows that we need more black entertainers. I mean seriously, how times are the same damn people going to win the same damn awards. The BET AWARDS have been coming on for exactly 9 years and the winners have damn near been the same except for athlete of the year and that only switched hands like 3 4 times .Just Blaise You got me on that one. What you said is true BUT, we do need more black entertainers I'm putting authors, directors, athletes, musicians, etc. in this category as well who are relevant. Why does it seem like we have a new crop of black entertainers every 4 years, then we go into hybernation??
Why didnt Entertainment Tonight mention Michael Jackson's death?
they only talked about Farrah Faucett. i realize she is a famous person too and Michael Jackson's death was more of a surprise and more peopel seem to be payign attention to the news coverage about him. they were both tragic deaths and they should both have gotten mentioned. like The Insider could have followed Michael While ET covered Farrah. it doesnt seem right to me. he was more popular and was the world former King of Pop. a title which know popstar to this day has been able to take away from him.probably , since it air 3 hours ahead of time in the east side of the country and the show isnt filmed live, they film it ahead of time.
